Bonnot (aka Walter Buonanno) is a 3x award-winning composer, DJ, and producer, best known for his collaborations with legendary artists such as M1 of Dead Prez, UK jungle pioneer General Levy, and Italian hip-hop icons Assalti Frontali. His genre-crossing productions — spanning drum and bass, reggae, hip-hop, and electronic — have received international support from major radio stations like BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra (UK), HOT 97, 99JAMZ, SHADE 45 (USA), IRIE FM (Jamaica), and Radio Deejay (Italy), as well as artists including Kanine and DJ Aphrodite.

 

Bonnot has performed at major festivals such as Outlook Festival, IDM – International Drum’n’Bass Meeting – and Rototm Sunsplash Festival, sharing stages with names like Camo & Krooked, Noisia, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, DC Breaks, Prolix, Black Sun Empire, DJ Aphrodite, Pendulum, Benny Page, Ed Solo, Serial Killaz, and many more.

 

His official remixes include standout tracks like “Time Travel” for Dead Prez feat. Busta Rhymes, Black Thought (The Roots), Bun B & General Levy (presented by DJ Mag UK), “Stand Up Remix” for Asian Dub Foundation, and “Run” from Dub FX’s album Theory of Harmony (with Numa Crew).

 

He also appears as a featured artist on 30!, the album by world-renowned jazz musician Paolo Fresu.
